Will the magnets actually hold a full water bottle?
Yes — that's the whole point. The bag uses N52-grade neodymium magnets, the strongest commercially available grade. We've tested it with Stanley Quencher 40oz, Hydro Flask 32oz, and standard gym bottles up to 1 litre / 2 kg. It holds through squats, deadlifts, and HIIT sessions without slipping. The magnet isn't the weak link — cheap copies with ferrite magnets are the ones that fall off.
Will the magnets damage my phone?
No. Modern smartphones use NAND flash storage, which isn't affected by permanent magnets. The sensor that controls screen rotation can be temporarily confused if the phone is right next to the magnet, but it corrects itself immediately. The things that can be damaged: credit cards, hotel key cards, and old HDD hard drives — keep those away from the magnetic closure.
What gym equipment does it actually stick to?
Any ferromagnetic steel surface — which covers the vast majority of gym equipment. Confirmed: cable machine uprights, squat rack uprights and crossbars, Smith machine rails, treadmill handles (most are mild steel), barbell storage racks, dumbbell racks. Not compatible with: aluminium, stainless steel (304/316 grade), or heavily powder-coated non-magnetic surfaces. If a magnet sticks to it, Maglo sticks to it. When in doubt, put a fridge magnet on the surface first.
How long does shipping take — honestly?
We dispatch within 2–3 business days from our supplier. EU delivery typically takes 10–20 business days from dispatch. What bottles fit in the sling bag?
Standard bottles up to approximately 1 litre / 750–1000ml diameter. Tested and confirmed: Stanley Quencher 40oz, Hydro Flask 32oz, Nalgene wide-mouth 32oz, and most standard-diameter gym bottles. If your bottle fits in a standard car cup holder, it fits in Maglo. Very wide bottles (like Stanley IceFlow 40oz) may be tight — email us and we'll tell you.
Is it waterproof?
Water-resistant, not waterproof. The outer fabric repels sweat and light splashes reliably. The zips are standard gym-quality, not waterproof rated. Don't submerge it or leave it in rain — it's a gym bag, not a dry bag. For gym use it handles everything you'd throw at it.
Are you a real EU brand or an AliExpress reseller?
We're a real small brand. Lukáš and Jakub are actual people in Central Europe — we're gym-goers who built the product we wanted to use. We don't have a warehouse yet and we're honest about being new. Is it safe if I have a pacemaker or medical implant?
No — the bags contain strong neodymium magnets that can interfere with pacemakers, ICDs, insulin pumps, and all active medical implants. Do not use Maglo products if you or someone nearby has an active implanted medical device. Keep the bag at least 30cm from any medical device.
